Middle School Science and Math Teacher
  • Proficient in the use and integration of technology in the classroom, including SMART Board technology; experience with Edline or similar systems is a plus

  • Experienced in teaching earth, life, and physical science
  • Experienced in teaching the scientific method
  • Experienced in teaching middle school math concepts in preparation for and including pre-algebra and geometry
  • Articulates knowledge of newly released Science standards
  • Articulates understanding of the unique developmental needs of middle school students
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving skills
  • Shows skill and sensitivity in working with all members of the school community

K-8 Spanish Teacher
  • Teaches a balance of Spanish speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills
  • Possesses a strong knowledge of the mechanics of the Spanish language, including but not limited to grammar, spelling, orthography, verb tenses and conjugations
