Laptop Computers Allowed in Middle School
Students in sixth through eighth grades are allowed to bring their own laptop computers to school. This is an optional situation as we gear-up to integrate the use of technology within our middle school curriculum. Many teachers require the computer to complete assignments and projects for the 2009-2010 school year. The use of the computers assist in the completion of these projects and activities. In addition, all middle school teachers have incorporated the use of the SMART™ Boards within the curriculum. As a MS Team member, I have researched the current trends and expectations in the use of technology for acceptance and preparation into the various high schools. The MS teachers are diligently working to meet your child’s academic needs, and to use technology in enhancing the learning experience.
