Welcome to the web home of the Westlake Eagles! Westlake Christian School has a strong commitment to its after-school sports program and all 5th – 8th grade students are encouraged to participate in after-school athletics, regardless of playing experience.
WCS is a member of the Pinellas Youth Conference, an association of local faith-based schools in central and northern Pinellas County. Our 5th and 6th grade students are members of our Junior Varsity program, and our 7th and 8th grade students make up our Varsity teams.
Westlake fields teams in the following sports: Boys and Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Track / Field, and Boys and Girls Bowling. We also field teams in Boys Baseball, Girls Softball, Cheerleading, and co-ed Golf.
Our objective is very simple – to help identify and develop a student’s God-given athletic gifts. We are dedicated to teaching our students the fundamentals of each sport, to developing Christian character through healthy competition, fostering sportsmanship, and to encouraging each student-athlete to give their best effort.
