All Westlake students participate in ministry, missions, and outreach opportunities in our community.

Westlake believes in teaching our students to give back to the community and supports several local ministries including The United Methodist Children's Home, Clothes to Kids, Highland Lakes Assisted Living, and the American Heart Association to name a few.

Westlake also supports other schools in the area by providing food to allow schools to offer breakfast and lunch during school breaks.  We work hand-in-hand with Palm Harbor United Methodist Church to feed the homeless, engage in street ministry, and support foreign missionaries in Belize.

Internationally, Westlake has been involved with Samaritan's Purse, People for Haiti, and in the Pura Vida Mission Center in Costa Rica.

In addition, we want our students to understand service even within our school.  As a result, our National Junior Honor Society and Student Government Association works to provide peer-to-peer tutoring, recycling, and fundraisers as well as other activities.
